UCSB Social Climate Science Lab visits São Paulo, Brazil

David Sherman & Heejung Kim gave talks at FGV EAESP in São Paulo, Brazil on January 30th, 2024, at the Department of Marketing. Sherman’s talk was titled "Beliefs and Social Norms as Precursors of Environmental Support: The Influence of Collectivism and Socioeconomic Status” and Kim’s talk was titled “Environmental Motivation as Social Motivation: How Social Need Influence the Relationship Between Environmental Beliefs and Action.” Below is a photo of them with the talk attendees. On January 29th, Sherman gave a talk at the Jose Luiz Egydio Setubal Foundation titled "Addressing Climate and Health Challenges: Psychological Diversity in What Drives Action."
